Agenda ETMS key components description
Database synchronization engine
Data replication (synchronization) among client workstations is done using a proprietary database synchronization server. This server is optimized for incremental data synchronization, thus offering very short data replication times (usually, less than a minute, even over low-speed internet connections such as Dial-up or GPRS).
A secured proprietary communication engine was designed to work over Internet. All information exchanged between client and server is encrypted using 128 bits AES Rijndael encryption. Communication server also implements several intrusion detection techniques, such as statefull packet inspection or dynamic IP blocking. During database synchronization, client is interacting only with this communication server. Database synchronization server is accessed only by communication server, after a successful user authentication.
Data synchronization engine was designed and built with "Zero Administration System" paradigm in mind. During database synchronization, server is looking for newer versions of program modules installed on client side and deliver them if found, without any user intervention. This way, client workstations will run only the latest versions of Agenda ETMS program components.
User administration / territory administration
User administration and territory administration is as simple as it can be. The system administrator has only one thing to do - to assign or to remove territories to/from a user. The data synchronization engine will do the rest. During the next data replication session, target client workstation will receive all the data regarding new territories and will remove obsolete ones. There is no need to reinstall client workstation. In fact, a workstation has to be reinstalled in only few cases - when operating system installation occurs, when application data files are deleted or when a new user starts using the workstation.
Suggested territory fragmentation is at district level. This can be modified according to customer‘s needs (city level, street level and so on) by reconfiguring the synchronization engine.
Report subsystem
Agenda ETMS is empowered by our report generation system "AQD". AQD allows complex database interrogations. The results can be exported as Microsoft® Excel files (both Microsoft® Excel sheet and Microsoft® Excel Pivot Table formats are supported). Even better, the results can be shown in "CrossTab” (A built-in cube reports format). For those "CrossTab" reports the drill-down operation is available, making the complex task of finding the raw primary data behind statistics a matter of a few double-clicks.
International support
Agenda ETMS was designed and built with Multilingual User Interface support. Right now, English, Romanian, Russian and Bulgarian languages are available. Other user interface languages can be added upon request.
